LCPC'03 will be sponsored by NSF and Microsoft Research. We anticipate that we will be able to award travel grants to paying registrants. The exact amount of the awards will be determined based on the number of registered attendees and the availability of funds. Awards will be for a maximum of $250 (i.e., covering early registration costs). Your workshop registration will serve as your application for these awards.
Also based on available funds, students may receive an additional Travel Grant in the form of free room at the Memorial Student Center (MSC) Guest Rooms . Students are therefore STRONGLY encouraged to book rooms at the MSC. We also encourage room sharing. The MSC is on campus and is within walking distance of most venues of interest. Reservation information is available below.
LCPC'03 will be held at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Meetings will be held on campus.
College Station's Easterwood airport is serviced by Continental Express from Houston (jet service, 20 minute flight) and American Eagle from Dallas (40 minute flight). College Station is about 90 miles northwest of Houston (1.5 hours driving from Houston's Intercontinental airport), about 110 miles east of Austin (2 hours driving from Austin's airport), and about 180 miles south of Dallas (3 hours driving from the Dallas/Fort Worth airport).
