PACT 2011 Registration Information

Registration for PACT 2011 and its tutorials and workshops should be made using the following on-line registration system. Please follow the link that is appropriate for you:

A number of travel grants will be available for PACT - the exact number and amounts of these awards has not yet been determined. Details on how to apply for these grants will be available soon.

Registration for PACT 2011. The registration costs for PACT 2011 and its tutorials and workshops are shown in the table below. The deadline for early registration has been extended to September 12, 2011. Registration for PACT 2011 includes attendance at all PACT technical sessions, conference proceedings, breakfasts, lunches and breaks on October 11-13, the excursion and conference banquet on Wednesday October 12 (additional banquet and excursion tickets can be purchased during registration). Registration for tutorials and workshops (full or half day) includes breakfast, lunch and breaks on the day of the tutorial or workshop. Registration for PACT 2011 and its tutorials and workshops should be made using the on-line PACT 2011 Registratation system (urls above).

Cancellation Policy. Requests for registration cancellation should be sent to pact [at] cse.tamu.edu. Requests for registration cancellation received on or before August 1, 2011 will receive a full refund minus a $30 USD processing fee and registration cancellation requests received from August 2 to September 12 will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be made after September 12, 2011. If the registrant received a letter of invitation from the conference to be used to obtain a visa, then no refund will be processed without proof that the visa was not obtained.

Invitation Letters for Visa Applications. If you will need a visa to travel to the USA, then you may need a letter confirming your participation at PACT 2011. Please be advised that we can generally only prepare letters for attendees who (i) are authors or co-authors of papers or posters to be presented at PACT 2011, and (ii) have paid their registration in full. If you need such a letter, please send an email message requesting the letter to (pact [at] cse.tamu.edu). Your message should have the subject "Visa for PACT 2011" and should contain the following information:

  • Your name.
  • Your title, e.g., Professor, graduate student, etc.
  • Your email address.
  • The title of your paper or poster at PACT 2011.
  • Are you an IEEE/ACM/IFIP Member? And if so, your member number.
  • The full address of where you would like the letter to be sent. Please indicate if an email with a scanned PDF file will be sufficient.
