PACT 2011 Call for Tutorial & Workshop Proposals

Tutorial & Workshop Proposal Deadline: Friday, April 8, 2011

We solicit proposals for tutorials and workshops related to all aspects of computer architecture and compilers, both general-purpose and embedded, with an emphasis on performance. See previous PACT conferences (http://www.pactconf.org) for example tutorials and workshops. Please submit your proposal of no more than two pages on or before the deadline above.

Please send workshop proposals to pact [at] cse.tamu.edu and cc the PACT 2011 Workshop Chair, Jose Moreira (jmoreira [at] us.ibm.com) Please include in your workshop proposal:

• title of the workshop,
• organizers and their affiliations,
• sample call for papers, including the workshop's main topics,
• expected duration of the workshop, i.e., 1/2 day or full day,
• expected number of published papers and attendees,
• indicate if the workshop was previously held at PACT, and if so, what years,
• if the workshop was previously held, please provide the following information for the last workshop: where and when it was held, the number of published papers, the number of submissions, if known, and the number of attendees.

• title of the tutorial,
• organizers and their affiliations,
• abstract and outline of tutorial content,
• expected duration of the tutorial, i.e., 1/2 day or full day,
• target audience and expected number of attendees,
• short biography of each speaker/organizer,
• indicate if the tutorial was previously held at PACT, and if so, what years,
• if the tutorial was previously held, please provide the following information for the last offering: where and when it was held and the number of attendees.
