PACT 2011 Tutorials & Workshops


The tutorials and workshops for PACT 2011 are listed below. Registration for tutorials and workshops is handled through the PACT 2011 registration site. Both half day and full day tutorials and workshops include lunch and breaks. For workshop inquiries, please contact the Workshops Chair, Jose Moreira (jmoreira [at] us.ibm.com). For tutorial inquiries, please contact the Tutorials Chair, Barbara Chapman (chapman [at] cs.uh.edu).

The tutorials and workshops will be held on Monday October 10 and Friday October 14 in the Hotel Galvez, the conference hotel (see hotel map for rooms). Registration for tutorials and workshops (full or half day) includes breakfast, lunch and breaks on the day of the tutorial or workshop. Also, registrants for Monday tutorials and workshops can attend the PACT welcome reception on Monday evening and registrants for Friday tutorials and workshops can attend the PACT private event at the Moody Garden Aquarium on Thursday evening.

The daily schedule for the tutorials and workshops is as follows:

  • 08:00-09:00: Breakfast (Veranda, included with registration)
  • 09:00-12:00: Morning Session
  • 10:00-10:30: Morning Break (Peacock Alley)
  • 12:00-13:30: Lunch (Veranda, included with registration)
  • 13:30-17:00: Afternoon Session
  • 15:00-15:30: Afternoon Break (Peacock Alley)
