Lucas Flygare is currently a graduate student doing research
in motion planning and robotics.
I graduated from the University of Wisocnsin-Madison with degrees in computer science and
applied mathematics. While I was at the University of Wisconsin I spent mutliple semesters
tutoring and mentoring athletes in pre calculus, calculus and computer science classes.
I have worked with over 80 different athletes from all varsity sports teams.
I spent two summers doing research in Dr. Nancy Amato's lab. My first summer at
University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign I won the symposium award for
all of the REU summer reserach projects in computer science.
I am currently doing research in insect motion planning and developing a local planner for
the gliding motion of our system.
