Emmanuel is currently working towards earning his Masters of Science in Computer Science. His current work focuses on developing distributed and hierarchical task and motion planning algorithms for use in robotics applications. Emmanuel's prior experience lies in Computer Vision for disease situation awareness and Android software development. His major skills include algorithms, parallel computing, ML, AI, IoT, and general fullstack software engineering.
Emmanuel is also the treasurer of B[U]ILT, the Black, Indigenous, and Latinx in Tech club at UIUC. He also serves as a Broadening Participation in Computing Fellow, where he works with several outreach groups and diversity/inclusion themed student organizations on campus to help the goal of getting more women and people of color into the field of computer science.
During his time at UIUC, Emmanuel has also held the prestigious titles of Siebel Scholar and Graduate College Fellow.
